Walking into the local pound you can hear the fait yelps and barks of the current residents, as you approach the front desk you look to see a fairly plump lady filing.
The pound is where you can come and adopt a new friend [(unless you already have one), you can also put your current pet up for adoption, but you have to wait a week before you can adopt a new friend (:
