Erika jerked to a stop in a parking space in front of the main office. While driving, she never really eased into anything, something that had nearly made her fail her license exam. It was zero to sixty and back again in ten seconds flat. She undid her seatbelt and went to check on the horse her mother was towing. With her driving style, her parents didn't let her tow anything without supervision. The bay had fallen asleep and blinked wearily at her when she reached a hand through the bars to pet his head.

Erika consulted a small, worn map and pointed her mother toward the barn to unload while she registered properly and got her things to her dorm. She sighed a little, reminded her mother that Jax needed some hay when he got to his stall, and walked up to the doors of the office.

The interior smelled like horses and coffee, both familiar scents to Erika. She felt a little more at home as she walked up to the desk and smiled at the blonde woman sitting there. "Hi, I'm Erika Wilder. I'm a new student; can you help me?"

Alexis searched her desk for a missing file, but couldn't seem to find it. As she sat back down at her desk Alexis took a sip of her coffee, hoping that it wouldn't spill this time around.

Alexis heard the door open and close, she cleared her throat and prepared herself for yet another introduction, as she watched the girl walk in she gave a slight smile and nodded as she began to introduce herself "Well hello there Erika" she said as she stood up and walked around towards her "Im Alexis, the owner of HardLine Academy" she said putting out her hand "Your riding level decides on where you stay" she said clearly "Is there anything I can help you with?"

Erika took Alexis's hand and shook it firmly. This was much better than most schools; every other time (which was a grand total of once - not a great sampling size, but still) she'd been given a pile of paperwork and neglected until she complained. Loudly. Hardline was already making a good impression, and Erika was especially happy for this. Maybe bringing her mother in wouldn't have been a bad idea.

"My riding level? When is that determined?" Erika didn't really want to hang around forever to get herself evaluated. It wasn't like it would be hard; she'd shown at four feet for a year now, and was schooling at 4'6". Whatever house she would be staying at, there was no doubt it would be the one for advanced riders.

Alexis liked her firmness, after the handshake Alexis took a step back towards her desk "Well you see you tell us what riding level you think your at, we will then place you in the house and then in two or three weeks we will test you and if you don't suit that particular category you will be moved into the correct house" she said slowly and clearly, hoping she wasn't mumbling.

Alexis turned around and walked to her desk and took a seat and spread out the files on her desk, once she found Erika's she opened it and looked at it thoroughly "Ah, yes see you said you put Advanced, that means you'll be placed in the misty rose house" she said with a smile
