The main office was circled in red pen and had a note nearby to "go first," although the note was nearly unintelligible due to Sidney's terrible handwriting. According to the map, he was close, and the white building was indeed just around the corner.
He stepped out of the truck and checked over his horse quickly before grabbing his resume and the letter he had been sent confirming his application. His leather boots crunched up the gravel sidewalk as he took a deep breath and prepared himself for the meeting. Really, there wasn't much to be nervous about, as he'd already been accepted, but Sidney couldn't help some nerves going into the first real job of his life.
The door squeaked a little as he pushed it open. The office didn't seem to have anyone waiting, so Sidney stepped right up to the blonde woman at the desk. "I'm Sidney Kasal. I'm the new showjumping instructor; what do I need to do here?" Perhaps he was a little brisk, but he had his horse in the trailer and didn't want to wait long.

 Alexis stepped in front of her mirror as she looked at herself, cleaning the crumbs from her outfit from the sandwich she just ate, she fixed her her and checked her outfit once over before going back to her desk. Alexis signed papers and such as a man walked in, she gazed up at him and smiled "Hello Sidney, Im Alexis I have been expecting you" she said as she stood up and walked over towards the window "Yes, I will try and make this as quick as I can" she said "You will be staying in the Floral White house and your classes will be held in the outdoor or indoor arena depending on the weather" she spoke as she turned her gaze to the indoor arena then back at the man "Is that all?" she asked curiously |

That made things easier; at least she wasn't going to drag this meeting out longer than it needed to be. "Nearly. Can I put my horse in any open stall? He's a gelding and isn't aggressive. A little dopey sometimes, but he means well." Sidney didn't want to screw up any carefully planned stalling schematic. Austin didn't really have any bad habits around other horses; he had grown up in a pasture and, as such, didn't bite or kick. But dopey was a good word to describe him; he needed management and a careful eye to make sure he didn't do anything really stupid.
"Oh! One more question. Is there a roster for my class yet?" Sidney asked, a twinkle in his eye. He wanted to know what he was dealing with; the job description had been simply 'show jumping instructor' with little indication on the levels he'd be instructing. Granted, a roster might not have that information, but hopefully it would. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Alexis studied his face before gazing away out the window again "Yes, Gelding you say? hmm, he must be housed at the white rose barn" she spoke clearly as she turned her gaze back towards him and walked back over to her desk "Well there is no current roster, but it will be made up soon because it is just the beginning" she said with a smile as she scattered the papers around on her desk. Alexis took another sip of her coffee and began to look through various files "Anything else?" she said as she looked up seeing he was still there |
