Silver Belle Erickson
Play by: Selena Gomez
Name: Silver Belle Erickson
Student or staff: Staff - Steeple & Cross Country
Age: Twenty One
Gender: Female
Nationality: Cuban - American
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Physical Appearance: Well well then, you asked, go on baby girl, give them boys a little twirl and show 'em what'cha got. Standing at Five foot six, Silver is not short, not is she tall, but better centered in the middle of the scale for girls her height. Her dark colored hair is thick and naturally tight in waves, which is common in many Hispanic girls. Along with the soft touch of her hair, it's length is slowly growing in after a haircut she got a few months back, to just below her chin. By now her hair is reaching more or less four inches below her shoulders. Moving onto her facial features, she's got quite the doll-like appearance, with rounded cheeks and her dark, emotional eyes, which are a dark shade of coffee mixed with honey highlights. Silver's skin complexion is anything but a pale color, she has the natural skin tone of a very relaxed cream-ish colour. It's not too tanned but not milk-white, once more in the middle.
Now thanks to her previous self body conscious, she had shed the weight, to shrink to a petite medium of one hundred and twenty pounds. At the age of 13 she was weighing around 190 at the height of 4'11, and since she had been on the chubby side all her life since being a child, they had deemed her to stay around there for her oncoming years. But, luckily for her, she found particular motivations to loose the weight, and is now more confident of her body then ever before. At her weight & height, she's got a well founded figure, with the curves in all the right places, and then some. Along with the weight loss, she found her true identity and traded in her long, ankle-length skirts and over-sized blouses in for simple tops and flare jeans. Silver is very simple and comfortable in her attire, having a gentle flare for liking anything camo-related, add a little cuff watch and she's good to go. One accessory that never leaves her is her late brother's double dog tags from the military, it makes her feel complete and close to him.
Personality: She can look past the stereotypes and see the real people behind their facades, people will often feel compelled to come to her for help and advice. Quite solitary and somewhat shy around people, she prefers animals and plants figuring the less people she surrounds herself with, the less room there is to feel pain. That is something that was passed to her after the death of her brother and vowed to never let it happen again. Silver is very strong in her silence, and benevolent.
She is extremely reliable and loves to make others smile. She has a deep need to try and create harmony in their surroundings. Unfortunately, this can sometimes lead to her be getting taken advantage of. She is very gullible and will believe mostly everything you tell her. She takes this well however; she cannot escape who she is or why she is like that, and never stoops down to their level. She is selfless, and often runs herself down. But she is strong inside, she can take repeated "emotional blows". She has a slight difficulty portraying her true emotions; often bottling it all up inside and then later it will burst.
History:Silver was born to a farrier father and a medical assistant mother on a quite the sunny day. He was Ezequiel and she was Dolores, both from different parts of the globe. He was the son of a Cuban Tabacco maker in Florida, with an American mother, so he was classified as Cuban American. Being adventurous of his roots he traveled to his mother's homelands and then to his fathers'. It was in this island where he met with his soon to be wife, a rebellious and aspiring Cuban native dancer. The young couple hit it off, and got married, and ten months later came Samuel, their son.
By now Ezequiel had set up his small business, shoeing the local horses from the town when Dolores got pregnant again with her second child. Samuel was nine years old when Silver was born. He began her mutual guardian angel from there on out, being her shadow and her support since day one. Silver spent her first 3 years on the island, enjoying life being carefree and childish. Sadly, when Silver was Four, her family moved back into the States. Ezequiel's parent's housed them on their fifty acre property where he could continue with his farrier business. Dolores went on to find a job working in a nursing home in the nearby neighborhood. Samuel and Silver spent days out in the meadows, playing tag and all the games you play when your a young kid. The grandparents had sufficient farm animals for the two kids to hassle with. They would chase chickens, tease pigs and ride the llamas. The family also had a little white Shetland pony, which was dubbed by Silver.
The years went by, soon Silver started elementary school, and her brother into Middle school. Another two years passed, and Samuel enrolled into the military, focused on the air force. While he was away, Silver took up riding at a local Polo ranch, learning the arts of horses and racing. He was 18 when he signed release and was sent out of the nation to Japan at a base they had there. This tore Silver up inside even more. She had never wanting him to enlist in the military when he started high-school to begin with, it had shortened the time they spent together. It was from there on out that she began with her eating disorder from a young age. Her depression nearly killed her metabolism, thus making her gain weight. Many didn't see a problem, but as time passed by, she gained more and more, and stayed at a short height. She was medically consulted but didn't heed to warnings and lost herself with her weight gain and food, primarily junk food.
When she was 13 & weighing a heavy 190 pounds, Samuel came back home from duty on spring break. Feelings were tense as the family reunited for a good week. Samuel honestly told her how he felt about her weight gain and why she should stop and gain self control. Silver was outraged and stormed off, and didn't come out for the rest of that night until the next morning. Truth be told, Samuel had left that very morning to Japan & he didn't bother telling her that he was, both were angry at each other. Little did she know that it was the last time she'd see him again. The following year came by fast, Silver kept eating, and with the animals and finishing up her homeschooling. Bring overweight caused her problems so she dropped out of high-school in her freshman year and her mother decided to teach her instead. Silver did continue with her horse lessons, becoming a powerful rider.
Now nearing the end of November, the officials had contacted Dolores about the dark news. They had called her on a raining Friday afternoon, perhaps touche for the news to be told. Silver was outside with the animals before she watched Dolores come outside with the darkest expression she had seen on her face, the phone clutched tightly with her fingers. Silver didn't have to even ask before she knew what could of possibly happened. Depression sank further into her heart as she spent the rest of her days indoors on her bed, never going outside, barely talking and isolating herself from all that she knew. A few months later, the officials and the family grouped up at the funeral, half the area's military surrounding them as-well. After the event took place, the 15yr old was approached by the staff sergeant, whom presented her a note and her late brother's dog tags. Silver didn't know a day she cried so hard and so much.
The following years passed quickly as she began to take her-self control into action, remembering the last words her brother had told her. Month after month, she concealed herself to a strict diet and a rigorous exercising plan. For her 18th birthday she surprised her parents with the idea of moving out to Texas, and working at a very important ranch there. She had come across the ranch on the internet and immediately took interest, seeing as how they offered both advanced riding skills to their students, whom all had decorative backgrounds. Her father was, at first, in total denial but four months later she got her bags; heading out and away from Florida with a completely new outlook on life. She wanted to make a name for herself, she wanted to be remembered.. but most of all, she had to make him proud.
